Skiing in the Ötztal

From Umhausen – Niederthai you will reach the TOP ski areas such as Hochoetz-Kühtai, Sölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl with numerous lifts and downhills at all levels of difficulty in a few minutes by car or the free ski bus.

Fun on the Pistes

for the Young & Old

Hochoetz and Küthai Ski Resort.

An absolute family ski area. Accessible with every multi-day ski pass (2+ days). Free bus transfer every half hour between Hochoetz (Ochsengarten) and Kühtail. We recommend acquiring the Super Ski Pass, which also includes the Sölden ski area (1 or 2 days resp.).

Sölden

With 34 lifts and 151 kilometres of pistes, the Sölden ski area is one of the sportiest resorts in Austria. Moreover, Sölden can offer something unique: two glacier ski areas and three 3,000m-peaks you can reach by lift.

Obergurgl-Hochgurgl

The diamond of the Alps. Obergurgl-Hochgurgl at the end of the Ötztal is the Alps’ most snow-reliable ski area. Not surprising, as it stretches from an altitude of 2,000 and 3,000m. Most downhills in the 110km-large ski area have a sporty character and offer top-class skiing pleasures.
